Child Assessments

These assessments are designed to evaluate the developmental progress and scholastic abilities of children. They include school readiness assessments that assess a child's readiness to enter formal education, as well as scholastic assessments that evaluate their academic abilities and progress.

Depending on the specific needs of the child and purpose for the assessments, the following assessments can be included in the test battery: 

Wechsler Intelligence Test for Children 

Junior South African Individual Scale 

Senior South African Individual Scale

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test 

Beery Test of Motor-Visual Integration

Please note that it is outside of the scope of psychometrists to provide diagnostic or concession assessments.

Process:

After an initial consultation with the child and their legal guardian/s, where I gain more background information, we will decide on the assessments that will be used. Following the consultation, we book a day for your assessments. Thereafter we book a feedback session. You will also be provided with a detailed written report of your assessment results and recommendations.

R2,000 - R3,000

The final costs of the assessment package is dependent on the individual needs and budget of the client. This is discussed in the initial consultation.
